Hole-In-The Heart Ring
Eastern philosophy poses the idea that opposing or seemingly contrary forces are interconnected in the natural world – darkness/light, sadness/happiness and death/light. Japanese jewellery designer Momocreatura encompasses these ideas by juxtaposing popular childhood memories of innocent fairy stories and magical forest scenery, together with the realities of human existence which has macabre undertones. From her collection "Nearly Dead".
This ring made by MomoCreatura is made of oxidised silver with enamel.
Pictures show mouse and rabbit hole-in-heart necklaces, but same size on ring.
