Medium stoneware bowl, originally used to make pies, galantines, rillettes and other varieties of cured meat. Today, it can be used to bake a gratin, serve cereal or salads.
Very resilient and vitrious as it has been fired to an extremely high temperature in the kiln.
Manufacture de Digoin was originally a family run business established in 1875 along the central canal in Burgundy, France. Historically known as the "Valley of Ceramics" the region of Digoin and Paray-le-Monial housed about forty ceramic factories all with their own expertise such as tiles, bricks and tableware.
