This garment has been made by Making for Change, a fashion training and manufacturing unit at HMP Downview Prison for women and at Poplar Works, the manufacturing studio for further training and employment. Established in 2014 by the Ministry of Justice and London College of Fashion, UAL, the project aims to increase well-being and reduce reoffending rates amongst participants by equipping them with professional skills and qualifications within a supportive and safe environment.
